Lawyer Cloud receives the FMAA award
Lawyer Thomas Cloud with GrayRobinson received the 2021 Paul S. Buchman Award from the Florida Municipal Attorneys Association for his contributions to municipal law. Cloud is board-certified for cities, counties and local governments, and has represented more than 80 Florida cities, including six as municipal attorneys. He has represented local governments since 1980 and is currently a municipal attorney for four cities in central Florida and legal counsel for the New Smyrna Beach Public Utilities Commission. Cloud previously served as president of the FMAA in 2015 and has presented municipal topics to the group since 1992.

Real estate is a family affair for this father and daughter
Gary M. Ralston, CCIM, SIOR, SRS, CPM, CRE, CLS, CDP, CRX, FRICS, CRRP, broker, general manager and senior advisor at SVN | Saunders Ralston Dantzler Realty, Pinned His Daughter, Lauren Ralston-Gengler, CCIM, CPM, asset manager & senior advisor also at SVN | Saunders Ralston Dantzler Realty, at the Florida CCIM Chapter meeting in Orlando at the end of May. Ralston-Gengler also recently became the firm’s third advisor to earn the Chartered Property Manager designation. She is the 11th brokerage advisor to cross the CCIM milestone. Ralston-Gengler has been in the real estate industry for over 10 years, dealing with all aspects, such as sale, rental, property management and development. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration from Florida Southern College. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and a certified property manager by the Institute of Real Estate Management. In 2021, Ralston-Gengler achieved its designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Member. Gary Ralston has been involved with the FLCCIM / CCIM organization for many years and was the group’s president in 1987. He is the second most designated real estate agent in the country and an educator in the field of commercial real estate. He is a Principal Instructor for the CCIM Institute and a Board Member of the CCIM Institute and CCIM Technologies and is a Past President of the Florida CCIM Chapter.
