[Webinar] Freeman Law Tax Court Review Course: Introduction to the Tax Court: Jurisdiction, Procedure and Overview – September 2, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM CT | Free human rights

This program is the first of Freeman Law’s multi-class course designed to prepare CPAs and registered agents for the Tax Court Entrance Examination. Attendees will receive an overview of the Tax Court and learn more about the jurisdiction and procedure of the Tax Court.

Our course is administered and taught by accredited tax lawyers. Our lawyers first presided over hundreds of cases before the Tax Court until the verdict. Freeman Law brings a wealth of procedural and substantive experience as well as a passion for teaching and communication. Our faculty includes Jason B. Freeman, who is a dual CPA lawyer and is currently President of the Texas Society of CPAs. Mr. Freeman has taught tax law as a professor at the Dedman School of Law for nearly a decade and has been recognized by Chambers & Partners as one of the leading tax and litigation lawyers in the United States, as well as named “Leading Tax Controversy Litigation Attorney of the Year” for the State of Texas for 2019 and 2020 by AI. Matthew Roberts was for years Registrar / Counsel to the Chief Justice of the Tax Court. He is a professor and teaches a course on corporate taxation at the Dedman School of Law. Mr. Roberts received his LLM in Taxation from New York University Law School and is a nationally recognized lawyer in the area of ​​tax controversy and a prolific author. Zach Montgomery is a dual CPA lawyer with significant experience in both sophisticated tax law and accounting. Mr. Montgomery is a graduate of the University of Virginia Law School and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. And finally, Gregory Mitchell is the Director of the Federal Taxpayers Clinic at SMU Dedman School of Law. He obtained his LLM in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
